SchemaMethodology

Code whispers contain aggregate statistics at the code + taxonomy_grouping level. The table contains national averages of rate, count of encounters, and revenue (where revenue is rate * count_of_encounters).

  • Financial & Claims Metrics

    • estimated revenue, claims, and negotiated rates associated with the billing code and taxonomy grouping

  • Ranking Within Taxonomy Grouping

    • each code's ranking by revenue, claims, and rate within the billing code and taxonomy grouping

Source data include the Komodo Utilization dataset (aggregating claims volume nationwide) as well as the best rates identified in CLD ("canonical rates").
