Definitive Healthcare is generally viewed as the standard for provider reference data. We bring in Definitive data into the CLD through spines and whispers:

• Provider Spines
• Provider Whispers

Some examples of how we use Definitive data include:

• Identifying ASCs and Imaging Centers, and their associated NPIs
• Active status of providers
• Hospital stats, e.g. 340b, ownership, total beds
